Version 2026-07-15 · Governed by the laws of India
PyRun (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an online Python learning platform operated by Neuraedge.AI (Proprietorship), a proprietorship with its principal place of business at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The proprietor is Nitesh Sharma. Contact us at hello@pyrun.in.
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using pyrun.in, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We provide the Service in India and comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended in 2008), the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). Our Privacy Policy documents how we act as a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.
PyRun provides interactive Python lessons that run entirely in your browser using Pyodide (CPython compiled to WebAssembly), a code editor, an in-browser terminal, a SQL playground, a notebook editor, optional AI code review using your own Anthropic API key, and progress tracking. Free-tier users get the first five lessons plus the full playground; paid tiers unlock the complete curriculum, graded exercises, per-project certificates, and cross-device sync.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period; you keep paid access until then and are not charged again. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy (7-day, no-questions-asked on your most recent charge). Refunds may be withheld or reversed for accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
Use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, incorporated by reference into these Terms. In particular, you must not scrape, resell, or systematically download our lesson content, use the in-browser Python runtime for cryptocurrency mining or denial-of-service, upload or distribute unlawful content, or impersonate any person or entity. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Your content. You own the code, snippets, notes, and hosted pages you create inside the Service (“User Content”). By saving User Content to your account or making it public, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, and display it back to you and to any audience you have chosen (for example, a public snippet page or a hosted-site URL). This licence exists solely so that we can run the Service. It ends when you delete the content.
Our content. Lesson text, exercises, illustrations, videos, curriculum design, the PyRun interface, brand marks, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Neuraedge.AI. You may use them for personal learning, including copying snippets into your own projects. You may not republish, resell, or commercially redistribute our lesson content without prior written permission.
AI-generated output. Explanations, reviews, and suggestions produced by third-party AI (for example, Anthropic's Claude, invoked with your own API key) are provided “as-is” and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it.
Paid subscribers who complete the full curriculum or ship a project that passes the associated AI code-review rubric earn a PyRun Certificate of Completion, issued by Neuraedge.AI and rendered as a public URL you may share on LinkedIn, resumes, portfolios, or personal websites.
PyRun certificates are private records of demonstrated learning. They are not accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), or any Indian or international government or educational board. They are not equivalent to a degree, diploma, academic transcript, or an industry-standard certification such as those issued by Microsoft, Google, AWS, or the Python Software Foundation, and cannot be used to claim academic credit at any accredited institution or to satisfy eligibility criteria for government employment. We make no representation that our certificates lead to employment, admission, or income of any kind.
We may revoke a certificate if we discover the associated submission was plagiarised, generated entirely by AI without genuine learner effort, or otherwise obtained in bad faith. Revocations are rare and always documented; we will notify you by email with the reason.
Our data-processing practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. In compliance with §8(9) of the DPDP Act and Rule 5(9) of the SPDI Rules, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:
For a copy of your data, correction, deletion, portability, or consent withdrawal, use the tools in your account settings or file a request via /grievance. If we discover a personal data breach that is likely to result in harm, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
We rely on the following data processors to run the Service: Vercel (hosting + edge), Neon (managed Postgres), Resend (transactional email), Razorpay (payments), and, when you choose to use AI features, Anthropic (Claude API — invoked directly from your browser with your own key). See the Privacy Policy for their roles, regions, and contractual protections.
PyRun is provided “as-is” and “as-available”, for educational purposes only. We make no guarantees about employment, industry certification, income, admission, or specific skill outcomes — learning to code takes real practice, which is your responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the total fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
You agree to indemnify and hold Neuraedge.AI harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using and delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms or the AUP, for legal reasons, or to protect the Service or other users. If we terminate for cause we will notify you where practical and give you an opportunity to export your data before deletion.
If we materially change these Terms, we will email registered users and show a banner on the site at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The version and effective date of the current Terms appears at the top of this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to approach a consumer forum near you, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
Questions about these Terms? Email hello@pyrun.in. We aim to respond within 2 business days. For a formal grievance under the DPDP Act or IT Act, please use the process on our Grievance page.
